SCOTT ESCUJURI graduated from Brigham Young University in 2002 with a Bachelor of Arts in English and an emphasis in literature and writing. He graduated from the University of Idaho, College of Law in May 2006. His legal career, however, began in 1998. Upon his return from two years in Guatemala where he learned fluent Spanish, Scott began working as a paralegal and investigator for a criminal defense attorney in Eastern Oregon. He then spent two years with a civil litigation firm in Provo, Utah, focusing primarily on personal injury and medical malpractice work. During law school, Scott interned with a criminal defense firm in Pullman, Washington, where he oversaw the personal injury aspect of the practice and gained courtroom experience. Also during law school Scott was the lead investigator on a first degree murder case involving over 600 witnesses and 10,000 pages of evidence.
After graduating from law school, Scott spent a year practicing law in Northern Idaho specializing in Business Law and Estate Planning before returning to the Treasure Valley and opening his own practice in 2007.
Scott lives in Boise with his wife, daughter and three sons. He enjoys golfing, fly fishing, skiing, camping, and any other activity that exposes him and his family to the beauty that is Idaho.
